Legends Hotel Mauritius

Legends is a new, deluxe 4* hotel situated in the heart of Grand Gaube, a beguiling fishing village near to Grand Bay in the north-eastern corner of Mauritius, only one hour away from the airport. This beautiful bay stretches as far as the eye can see and provides an invigorating setting. The hotel's concept is based on the principles of Feng Shui, handing guests the opportunity to experience the art of living in harmony with the environment.

Facilities

A full buffet breakfast is served in the main restaurant, where seating for 250 guests is available. In the evenings there is a daily rotation between ‘cultural’ buffets, table d'hôte and ‘gala’ dinners. This restaurant will only open for lunch for private functions held in the conference centre, but there are plenty of other dining options available to you.

La Bastide: If you are fans of Mediterranean cuisine, you are going to love La Bastide! It is open at lunchtimes and has seating for 80 guests.

Karma House: This is the hotel’s prestige dining room. With seating for 70 guests, Karma House specialises in an "East meets West" cuisine each evening. The restaurant is arranged as split-level, with an open kitchen, walk in-wine cellar and an outdoor terrace: A truly classy dining experience.

Abalone: A superb seafood restaurant offering the delicious ilk of silver oysters, pearly shellfish and scarlet red crayfish: amongst the best seafood you will ever sample.

Spirit Bar & Lounge: The place to enjoy a quiet drink before or after dinner in a totally relaxed atmosphere. Spirit Bar & Lounge is reminiscent of the plush comfort of an English club, where you will find Havana cigars, a magnificent library and board games.

Grand Bleu (Lunch 12:00 – 18:00 / Bar 09:30 – 01:30): Start on a mini world tour by visiting the pool bar, offering an international selection of refreshing drinks, available from 10:00 - midnight. Light lunches, snacks, brunches and dim sums (traditional Chinese lunch) are available on Sundays, along with excellent homemade pancakes.

Legends boasts three swimming pools and there are many FREE watersports available to guests: windsurfing, pedal boats, kayaking, mini-sailing, snorkelling, glass bottom boat trips and waterskiing. Also FREE of charge are the gym, sauna, beach volleyball, table tennis, bocci (or bocce) ball (similar to bowls), darts, tennis (floodlit courts) and mini golf. For a fee, you may enjoy power boat trips, parascending, big game fishing and scuba diving, as well as massages, mountain bikes and pool.

Entertainment is available every evening, when local bands, cabarets and shows showcase the colourful and lively talent of Mauritius.

The Presidential Villa, featuring the 5 Feng Shui elements, is a luxurious accommodation with two bedrooms. It is fitted with a modern kitchenette, whirlpool and a private outdoor stone garden with a pool, barbecue area and gazebo. The main feature of this Villa is that it has its own private beach! A suite with two extra bedrooms is also attached to the villa.
